Aged Tsipouro in Oak Barrels.
In 1829, here in our country, the "Battle of Petra" took place.
It was the last battle of the Greek Revolution of 1821.
As a tribute to our ancestors, we created the “Last Battle”.
Raw material
Distillation from the varieties: Assyrtiko, Sauvignon Blanc, Kountoura, Mouhtaro and Malagouzia
Distillation process
The pomace of each variety is distilled separately, in a copper alembic, drop by drop and at a low temperature. This way only the noblest aromatic compounds are obtained. The heads and tails of the distillate are discarded, in order to keep only the heart, which is redistilled following the same slow and gentle process. Finally, the separate distillates are blended in different ratios. The aim is to create a tsipouro with a balanced taste and a consistent quality.
It has been aged in oak barrels. The barrels are from France, with a capacity of 225 litres, some new and some 2nd and 3rd used so as to keep the elements of the grape.
Available only 700ml bottles.
The alcoholic content is 43%.
Ideal serving temperature 12-15 ° C
(*not too cold so as not to lose its aromatic elements)
