Released in an original series of six different labels, each of which portrays a different creature of the Mediterranean sea and suggests the delicacies that pair beautifully with ouzo. Small ‘meze’ (tidbits), that are spicy, salty, sour and intensely flavoured that love ouzo.
POINTS THAT MAKE US STAND OUT
1. Our secret recipe is based on the taste, knowledge and long tradition of the family. These, in combination with our quality ingredients, give rise to Ouzo Vithos. Each family, each distillery, has its own secret recipe that makes its ouzo differ from all the others. The water springs from the slopes of Mount Helikon. The anise, known for its analgesic and digestive properties, is collected from villages in Evia, under the guidance of the experts of the distillery, so that the fruit is the freshest possible in order for it to yield its most qualitative characteristics. The fennel, an ancient sacred herb, enhances the digestive properties of anise. The aromatic profile is complemented by the notes of mastic gum, kakule and cardamom (a natural anti-depressant and stimulant of memory and appetite).
2. Distillation takes place in traditional handmade copper stills, the only suitable method of production that gives distillates its distinctive character. During the distillation process the alcohol is flavoured by the herbs and fruits of the recipe. Intensive monitoring of all stages of the production process ensure quality.

The delicious smell of anise combined with the sweet-smelling herbs, creates a new ouzo with a soft & elegant taste. Distilled in small batches, rest in the distillery after distillation for more than 6 months before releasing, in order any bottle to be full of flavor, creating an exceptional quality.
The 100% Ouzo Vithos is absolutely balanced with an alcohol content of 40 % vol., a ripe body and amusing after-taste, establishing the experiences and secrets of our distillery.
